The animal has a short and smooth coat that comes in fawn, brindle, black, blue and harlequin (white with irregular black spots all over the body.) These dogs rarely live more than 8-10 years, but some individuals reach 12-13 years. A brindle great dane is better to purchase from a breeder who plan breeding of all the dogs.
